Product description

The stop valve is used to close, open and throttle the pipeline medium. The stop valve can completely block the fluid and form a good seal under the force of the valve stem. Is a very widely used valve, it is popular because of the small friction between the sealing surface in the opening and closing process, the sealing is by applying torque to the valve stem, the valve stem exerts pressure on the valve disc in the axial direction, so that the valve disc sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface are closely fitted, preventing the medium from leaking along the gap between the sealing surface. Relatively durable, opening height is not large, easy to manufacture, convenient maintenance, not only suitable for low and medium pressure, but also suitable for high pressure.


Working principle

The globe valve depends on rotating the handwheel to make the stem rise and fall, and drive the valve disc to make a straight line displacement parallel to the medium flow direction to achieve the purpose of opening and closing. The handwheel rotates clockwise, and the working medium enters through the channel below the valve. At this time, the applied sealing force must be equal to or greater than the sum of the specific pressure generated on the sealing surface and the upward force of the medium. When the globe valve is opened, the opening height of the valve disc is 25% to 30% of the nominal diameter, and the flow rate has reached the maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. Therefore, the full open position of the globe valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc.
